To my immense dissapointment the Federal Coalition between the Liberal and National Parties has been returned to government. Only upside I can see so far is a better showing for The Greens so perhaps the wider population is starting to recognise that a strong economy is no use if you can't breathe, or grow crops or live in coastal regions. (Note for non-Australian readers - Liberal here means Conservative/Right wing, similar platform to the US Republican party)
Rest of birthday was very pleasant though so day isn't a complete right off :)
I would like a change of government please.
